Safety auditing
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) is an internationally recognized evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. All IATA members must be IOSA registered to obtain and keep IATA membership. The IATA Standard Safety Assessment (ISSA) is a voluntary evaluation program for operators of smaller aircraft that are not eligible for the IOSA program.
